Linda first joined SVA in 1977 and returned in 1980 after earning her A.A. and A.S. in Veterinary Technology at Pierce Community College. She took 5 years off to focus on the specialty practices of cardiology & oncology before returning to SVA for good. She received her Veterinary Technician Specialty in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2008 and her second VTS in Canine & Feline Clinical Practice in 2012. She has also received specialty training in ultrasound imaging.
Linda is a devoted fan of Corgis and Persian cats. She currently has a fabulous rescue Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Bill and a messy Persian cat named Philbert. She is a speaker, published author, and is the editor of Small Animal Internal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians & Nurses. Outside the office, Linda enjoys scuba diving, traveling, supporting women in sports, watching the Seattle Mariners, and growing orchids and cacti.
